EcoVadis Assessment Support

EcoVadis is a supplier sustainability rating used by over 100,000 companies globally to evaluate and tier their supply base. A low score or missed submission puts your customer relationships and contract status at risk.

WHY IT MATTERS

Your customers are not requesting EcoVadis scores as a courtesy. They are using them to make procurement decisions. Companies below the required threshold are flagged for review, deprioritized in sourcing decisions, or excluded from RFPs entirely. A strong score signals that your business is a low-risk, high-quality supplier. A weak one signals the opposite, regardless of your actual performance.

WHO WE HELP

We support two types of companies. Those completing EcoVadis for the first time and unsure where to begin, and those who have received a previous score and need to improve it before their next assessment cycle.

HOW WE WORK

We review your current documentation, identify scoring gaps, and build a response strategy aligned to the EcoVadis methodology. For first-time submissions, we manage the full process from registration through submission. For score improvement, we conduct a gap analysis against your previous scorecard and prioritize the highest-impact actions before your reassessment window opens.

WHAT IS REQUIRED

To begin, we require the following: your most recent EcoVadis scorecard (if applicable), any existing environmental or social policies, your company size and primary industry, and the deadline or reassessment date you are working toward. We handle the rest.

Most companies that receive an EcoVadis questionnaire from a major customer spend the first two weeks trying to understand what the assessment actually requires. This guide removes that delay. It covers exactly what documentation is needed across all four EcoVadis themes, what format that documentation must take, and the eight most common errors that cause US suppliers to lose points on an otherwise strong submission.

What The Guide Covers:
  • Documentation requirements for all four EcoVadis themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement

  • How EcoVadis reviewers evaluate evidence, and what causes documented companies to receive partial or no credit for submissions they believe are complete

  • A pre-submission checklist you can work through before filing, organized by theme and document type
